This may be a long one, oh heck where do I start? As a child I was never still, always doing something, trying new things and I guess, as a 54 year old, nothing has changed there 😀
Drawing & Painting
My dad was a very good artist, I guess he passed that love of drawing down to me, because I have been known to sit and sketch and get totally lost in it. I particularly love to draw animals.

A little sketch of Millie, our Miss Puggly
I have a diary which I started when my two boys were little, hopefully one of them will want it when I pop my clogs. I write about what’s happening in mine and my families’ lives and accompany the writing with little drawings. They’re not brilliant drawings, but I enjoy creating this book to pass on for my boys in the future. Here’s a little sneaky peek Continue reading “#SundayStills – Favourite Sports or Hobbies”→
I learnt how to snowboard in my early forties. One of the main reasons for me was because both my sons were learning to snowboard at that time and they were naturals, making it look so easy. Yes it’s that time of year again to don the big boots, big coat, gloves, helmet and cover the face to the elements, strap a slippery board to the feet and throw ourselves off a snow covered mountain…It’s the long awaited and exciting Snowboarding time!
This time we flew off to somewhere totally new to us, Schladming, Austria. We have been a few times to Austria and the journeys have been easy peasy, but this particular area was new to us and it certainly didn’t disappoint, but the journey there was not the best… Continue reading “Not an easy journey to Schladming…”→
