#WordlessWednesday – Memories

Wordless Wednesday

At a time when life is a little different

Let past memories of normality, lead you to the excitement of making new memories in the future

Looking forward to…

Getting on my paddle board again!
Jon being able to take more great photo’s with his drone
Going on more adventures
Being able to cruise again in our boat

Travelling again
Eating out with loved ones
Enjoying family fun!

Of course, seeing and hugging family comes top in the things I am most looking forward to 💕

What are you most looking forward to?

  1. Apart from seeing my family, I’m most looking forward to playing with the sextet again. We have a WhatsApp group where we’re fairly active, but it’s not the same as sitting behind out music stands with our instruments and playing.

    1. Fun before lockdown 😊 we love our camper van and can’t wait to enjoy her again. Good luck finding your adventure van 👍

        1. It’s a great way to travel. I do recommend Brit Stops. It’s a directory which lets you know of so many good places to stop for free. It may be pub car parks or vineyards where it’s courtesy to go in for a meal maybe. I wrote about it a little while ago, think I gave a link to where you can get the directory from too. Last time we went to Scotland we used it and it was great 👍

          1. Right, I’ll keep that in mind Sam. I’ll remember it now and I know me and hubby were chatting about all that recently. Thanks for the tips and happy travelling – once this ‘thing’ is over. Caz x

  2. Hi Sam, The word “memories” is surfacing for me. How it is important to be making memories of the present moment. Yes, on adventures ahead of us and especially the hugs. Gorgeous photos! Take care.🙂

    1. Thank you 😊 yes, I guess we are making memories during this time and also learning a lot about ourselves. You take care too Erica

  3. Hi Sam I loved your post! The images are beautiful and remind me of the saying ‘a picture tells a thousand words’. I’m not a photographer so my blog posts are full of words. However, your post has brought me such joy that I might even be inspired to try a Wordless Wednesday. Have a lovely weekend and looking forward to more adventures in life.x

    1. Thank you Sue, I love taking photographs and so like to contribute to a few photo challenges. I look forward to seeing your contributions 🙂 xx

  4. Of course, spending time with family, especially my daughter and son-in-law in LA who are a continent away from me. But, believe it or not, I am really looking forward to doing my own grocery shopping again rather than relying on delivery. I am in NYC, the epicenter, and like most of my neighbors I am taking very few chances.

    1. Hi Trish, You really are in the epicentre, from here in the UK news on NYC has been quite shocking, although I’m not sure how much of the news has been media hype or reality, but still you have had it bad. How is it now? Are you able to go out at all? We’re just coming out of lockdown slowly here, which is nice, but also a little scary as we hope there isn’t another spike of cases. Thank you for visiting and hope you’re coping ok there 🌻
