Living on a boat brings the nicest of neighbours ๐Ÿ˜ they even help by nibbling the algae off the boat for us ๐Ÿ˜€

Looking forward to the annual chirping sounds of the new signets and ducklings soonย ๐Ÿ˜Š

Happy Wednesday!

    1. It is lovely to look out of the window and see the swans every day. I watched a mink this morning too, (I think it was a mink, it was certainly too small for a stoat or weasel. I love the wildlife on a canal ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Haha know she wouldnโ€™t, but she does go out & cleverly jumps on the the outside roof of the boat, still unsure how she does it ๐Ÿ˜Š

  1. That looks so lovely. Especially like the one of your cat watching the swans. Would love to see the thought bubbles coming out of that furry little head!

  2. A reminder that youโ€™re heading into warmer weather, and alas weโ€™re heading towards winter. The warmer weather must make a difference on the canals. The animals must love the changing scenery.

    1. Oh itโ€™s beautiful Chris, seeing the changing seasons on the canal. Itโ€™s gets quite noisy too with the ducks & swans starting to mate this time of year & then of course seeing the little babies starting to appear. Just beautiful, the insects are beginning to dance about too ๐Ÿ˜Š I hope winter is kind to you. Winter does have its own beauty ๐Ÿ˜Š

  3. Hi Sam
Lovely photographs. It must be nice being so close to nature all the time.

I’ve a book for you to read titled: The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George. It takes place on a barge in France. Hope you like it
