#WordlessWednesday – Power Kites

Power kites are so much fun!Β

Whenever Jon sees an empty beach and feels a good breeze then the kite bag comes out and the dogs get excited. Β I become the photographer and the head of the recovery team when it goes down.

All these photographs were taken at Gwithian Beach, Cornwall

    1. Thank you, it is so much fun and a little scary sometimes too. Yes anything to keep us on the beach πŸ™‚

        1. No, it’s only a one seater and I don’t think I’d want to Hugh, depending on the speed of the wind he can go a little too fast and with no great control! He can only do this when there’s no one else on the whole beach. He is a good kiter though. It’s actually very good exercise πŸ™‚

  1. HI Sam
This is amazing and sooooo scary. Your photos are lovely.
There is a beach near me where several kiters hang out (sorry about the pun) They are beautiful to watch.

    1. Hi Laura thank you 😊 yes it is a little scary because it does pick you up & drag you if the wind is strong. I love to watch them too, I must have hundreds of photos, but these are particularly lovely because of the skies I think 😊
